Personal Narrative: My Favorite Movie Something To Sing About

Every since I can remember I have liked to watch movies, I would never watch a scary

Movie during the right time. I would watch it during the day so I would not be as scared

At night. POWER RANGERS THE MOVIE was my all time favorite. One reason why

Is that they have new swords, swords are what they use to fight off the bad guys to save

The world. Another reason is because I got a crush on the yellow ranger she is real cute

To me. In all the movies that I have in my life time I can say that the movie SOME TO

SONG ABOUT is my favorite movie. One reason why it is my favorite, I can relate to

The movie in my life. Also every time I am down with life I just pop in that video to

Cheer me up for I can go go on with my day without feeling bad.

One of the main characters in the movie is a young man named Tommy. Life before

Tommy accepted Jesus Christ in his life was no good. He brought beer to drink away his

Problems, not realizing that all his will still be there when he woke up in the morning.

One day Tommy was walking to the store not relizing that his life will change for ever.

That's when tommy meet Mema, Mema reminds me of my late grandmother. She is a

Old lady that is saved in Jesus Christ. She offered Tommy a home cooked meal that he

Couldn't refuse. Being a x-convict it was hard for Tommy to hard a honest job.

Mema knowing what Tommy's problem called one of her friends to do favor for

Her for her. She got Tommy a job two days later, as a trash man. Tommy gave his life

To Jesus Christ. When he did that his life changed for the better. He joined the church

Choir. He read his bible everyday, the lord changed Tommy. Before he didn't

Belive that the lord can change all these things in his life. He knows that the

Lord can change anyone.Mema's grand daughter Lili like the flower, that's what Tommy

Personal Narrative – Singing Poorly Essay - Personal Narrative – Singing Poorly It was a year like any other, or, at least I suppose it could have been, but, it wasn't. It was actually 1965. This particular year, the Beatles released Help. the movie; for the second time, Jack Nicklaus won the Masters golf title; on Palm Sunday, 51 reported tornadoes touched down in the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Iowa resulting in 256 deaths and over 1500 injured; and, a young boy in Smalltown, USA was turned away from his school choir....   [tags: Personal Narrative Writing]859 words

Personal Narrative - Baptism Essay - Personal Narrative - Baptism I took my first step down into the font and thought. Baptisms are funny things. The brightness of it all is profound. It seems as if there is one brilliant mirror reflecting boisterous cheer everywhere. The idea is to pack as much happiness, either real or faked, into one too-hot room in the hope that it will be absorbed into the absolutely petrified soul of the prospective individual about to be baptized. The joy was so thick that it bounced around the walls and the floor searching for something to absorb it, something to hold it in permanently....   [tags: Personal Narrative Essays]2630 words

Personal Narrative - Music and I Essay - Music and I Ever since I was a small child, I have loved music. The strong, steady beats, the entrancing melodies, and the lyrics that vary between heart-warming and heart-wrenching have always had an unexplainable affect on my life. Music seems to have the ability to change certain aspects of my world. If I am in a foul mood, an angry girl band can make my rotten attitude even more irresistibly awful. When I am happy, any sort of upbeat, dance-to-me kind of music enhances my joy that much more....   [tags: Personal Narrative Writing]2013 words

Essay about The Piano Man - Roderich entered the bar at the time he was needed. It was 9:00 pm on a Saturday, and the usuals slowly trudged into the bar. Next to him was an older looking man, with long blond hair, and enjoying his gin a little too much. The man sighed. "Son, can you play a memory. I'm not really sure how it goes. But it's sad and sweet, and I knew it complete, when I wore a younger man's clothes." He then turned away, back to his gin. Roderich decided, for the man, to play his song. The song was filled with memories of the past....   [tags: Personal Narrative]

Personal Narrative Essay - Crickets - Personal Narrative- Crickets I’ve never liked bugs. Grasshoppers are gruesome, and wasps are menacing. Even butterflies seem to flaunt their grace by fluttering in your face. Recently, however, I’ve realized that one insect cowers below the others as the most scheming of the six-legged world. I’ve discovered that I hate crickets. These bugs are way too happy for their own good. Not only black, smaller versions of the grasshopper, crickets are masters of hide and seek. The inky bodies blend flawlessly into the shadows beneath a bush or inside the garage....   [tags: Personal Narrative Writing]333 words

Personal Narrative- My Dream Essay examples - Personal Narrative- My Dream I picture myself center stage in the most enormous and fantastically beautiful theater in the world. Its walls and ceilings are covered in impeccable Victorian paintings of angels in the sky. A single ray of light shines down upon my face, shining through the still, silent darkness, and all attention is on me and me alone. The theater is a packed house; however, my audience is not that of human beings, but rather the angels from the paintings on the walls come alive, sitting intently in the rows of plush seats....   [tags: Personal Narrative Writing]582 words

Essay about Personal Narrative- Television Remote - Personal Narrative- Television Remote Those who are recognized as having authority earn power because of strong leadership skills and the drive to make the world a better place. When people use power to do good deeds they gain respect. A typical leader also holds something in his or her hands, like a staff, that yields power. It is amazing to see people follow an individual who is holding on to something. If they could possess that object then they too could have power. Essay on Personal Narrative- Suicide Aftermath - Personal Narrative- Suicide Aftermath Some thoughts sneak into our mind without our knowledge, and some thoughts are already in our mind without our knowledge. Music either triggers this knowledge, or it draws the already present knowledge to the surface. For example, this morning was like any other morning.
